Sahara's Story...
Hi! My name is Sahara. I'm a lovable little girl eagerly awaiting my new furever home. I love to play! It's one of my favorite pastimes next to napping. I also enjoy exploring. My head is the first to pop up when something exciting happens in the adoption room. I love being around people. Volunteers usually place a bed on a bed on a table so I can take a snooze. I usually fall asleep while they're petting me. My ideal furever home would love to spend quality time with me and provide me with a stimulating environment. I will offer you unconditional love if you can reciprocate.
Sahara is current on her vaccinations, parasite-free, spayed, and tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia. If you are interested in meeting Sahara, she is located in the Petsmart store in Wayne. Adoption hours are as follows:
Friday: 6pm - 9pm
Saturday: 10am - 4pm
Sunday: 11am - 6pm

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sahara, a Elmwood Park Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Elmwood Park, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Elmwood Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elmwood Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elmwood Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elmwood Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
