Sara Bear is a gorgeous little Beagle and Border Collie mix puppy that is searching for her family. She was born on January 22nd, 2013. Sara’s litter was handed out in a parking lot, and only Sara and her sibling remained. Her sibling was killed when she got out in the pasture around the cows, and we were asked to take Sara Bear and find her a forever home.
Sara is up to date on shots and is your typical happy, loving little girl. She loves to play in the grass and enjoys sunbathing but I think what she likes best is snuggling up on the couch after a long day. Sara would make an amazing family member. We hope you will show this little southern girl that someone can love her forever and ever.
The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers.
After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not meet he/she will be adopted to that home.
Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.
