Soledad's Story...
I am a young 1-2 year old female cat who was surrendered by animal control. My owner could no longer keep me because they were moving. I am a longer haired orange cat. I like other cats, dogs and children. I am very social and lovable too. During the day I like to spend my time in the living room soaking up the sunlight on my silky orange coat. I love to play and love to be brushed.

Soledad is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated against distemper and rabies, combo-tested negative for FIV/Leuk, and treated for all parasites.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Soledad, a Addison Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Addison, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Addison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Addison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Addison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Addison paves the way for another one to be saved.
