Amy's Story...
Imagine being sent out into the world on your own, being picked up by a man in a big truck and then being put in a cage with your brother. Arthur and Amy were scheduled to walk the one way street when CRSD took them in. They are recouping from kennel cough but are the most loving two pups you could ever want. Both at about 7 lbs and maybe a year old they deserve the very best. If you want the most unconditional love from a friend you could ever get you should think about adopting one or both of these pups. If you are interested in adopting Amy or Arthur, please fill out an application on our website at www.RescueAChi.com or check out our list of events and meet them in person.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amy, a San Diego Pomeranian/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian/Chihuahua for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Pomeranian/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian/Chihuahua breeders who help with Pomeranian/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
