Millie's Story...
If you are a lover of the Dachshund breed but would love a Doxy that had the smarts and non-shedding coat of a Millie. She is such a wonderful and wiggly lover you can't help but immediately enjoy her energy. She instantaneously would like to cuddle and communicate how much she loves all her humans. She also likes other dogs but doesn't really require that relationship in order to be happy. Millie would be a great family girl and would clearly show her love and devotion in so many ways. She would be the perfect companion for a dog-friendly office. bringing along on vacation or simply hanging out or going for a long walk. Millie is a non-shedding girl and would therefore require periodic grooming to keep her coat healthy and matt-free
Millie is arriving on transport in Denver in May. Applications are currently being accepted for this wonderful family member.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Millie, a Boulder Dachshund/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Boulder, or seeking a Dachshund/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Boulder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boulder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boulder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Dachshund/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boulder paves the way for another one to be saved.
