Darby's Story...
Darby is a beautiful, friendly girl! She is a 7 yr old blue heeler (cattle dog) mix and weighs 45 lbs. She is extremely bright, loyal and athletic. She would gladly fetch a ball in a yard or pool for hours. She loves the challenge of finding hidden items. Her owner adopted her as a puppy from a shelter, but now must give her up because of work travel. She is very dominant with other dogs, so would do best as an only dog. Darby's heaven would be running, jumping, fetching, guarding and snuggling. Darby is house-trained, spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $100. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Darby, a Phoenix Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
