MILO's Story...
Milo is a TOY Purebred Australian Shepherd. Milo is about 16 months (as of April 1,13). He is current on all his vaccinations and neutered . .At first he is a little quiet and reserved but he comes out of his shell and he is a happy go lucky puppy dog. Really small, He is about 9-11 lbs and loves to be in your lap. He would make a great family dog, but with small children, they would need to be watched, they are, after all, Australian shepherds just smaller in size. If you would like to meet him, please email barkindogs1@aol.com to get a application. His adoption fee is $350.00 which includes neuter and all utd on vaccinations, current on heart worm control and flea control.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MILO, a Overland Park Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
