Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lucy.....I Love Lucy! How could you not fall in love with her looks and sweet demeanor! Her large hound ears are reminiscent of the Flying Nun. They seem a bit too big for her small 12 pound stature, but it makes her all the more loveable!
Lucy is a 5-6 month old beagle/hound mix~ the best of both worlds~ a small dog with the laid back qualities of a hound.
Lucy loves to play with other dogs, but her favorite past time would be belly rubs and snuggling until she falls asleep!
She is crate trained and almost fully house-broken. her Southern foster is working with her on leash manners, as she would rather run free in their fenced in yard, the wind lifting her ears, smile on her face, romping with the other dogs.
As with most shelter dogs, Lucy can be timid around people she doesn't know at first, but warms up quickly--she likes everyone and gets along with everything!
Lucy has been described as "the cute, mild mannered, little dog with the cross on her forehead". This sweetheart is waiting to find her forever family, will you be the lucky one?
