PETE's Story...
Pete is a high energy, lovable little guy who is super smart. He is a 6 year old, HOUSETRAINED and neutered Jack Russell that loves to lay on your lap. Pete loves his toys, especially balls. Pete loves other dogs but does not share that same fondness of cats. He does know how to open doors and he will jump a fence, he will need a high fence in his new home. Pete will bring a lot of love and plenty of laughs into his new home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PETE, a Clayton Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Clayton, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Clayton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clayton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clayton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clayton paves the way for another one to be saved.
