Urchin's Story...
Urchin is an adorable one-year-old, 16-pound, female Lhasa Apso - Tibetan Terrier-mix looking for a loving home. She is very healthy, spayed, up - to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and heartworm - tested and on preventative. She is being fostered in Chicago. To meet and possibly adopt Urchin, please e-mail sheri@petraits.com or text 773-777-2891. Her adoption fee of $350 benefits rescued dogs. She is great with other dogs and is very active and fun. She knows how to sit on command, is crate-trained ... and housebroken. She does need some training in manners, as she thinks nothing of walking across a cocktail table or going in the trash for a snack.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Urchin, a Chicago Lhasa Apso/Tibetan Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso/Tibetan Terrier for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Lhasa Apso/Tibetan Terrier dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso/Tibetan Terrier breeders who help with Lhasa Apso/Tibetan Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
