Charlie's Story...
Charlie is a Cattle dog/Catahoula mix who is about 1 year old and weighs 29 lbs. He is playful and very sweet. He is crate and housetrained. He is great with small breed dogs, ignores cats, but will test with large breed dogs. He is great with children of all sizes and ages.

Good Luck Charlie is good with other dogs and people; he is a very happy puppy. He can be feisty and fun or calm and cuddly. He loves toys, raw hides and balls. He loves attention. He does well on a leash, he does pull a little but with a halter calms quickly. He can be a bit clumsy and tends to bump into things when he is playing. He will cuddle up next to you or run around the back yard and play chase. Charlie is a good boy with a sweet face and will be a great addition to your family !!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a San Antonio Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
