Delta's Story...
Meet Delta! This beautiful girl was pulled from the Sacramento County shelter with a severe case of Demodex. We immediately started treating Miss Delta and her beautiful, soft fur has grown back and she is now ready for adoption! Delta has been around children ages 3yrs-16yrs and behaved very nicely around them. She wanted nothing more than to be loved by them. Delta has very good manners and has learned so much while in foster care. Delta knows the commands Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Watch Me, and is good on leash as well. Delta has been socialized well with other dogs and would be okay in a home with another friendly pup! We know its hard to believe that this gorgeous, well behaved girl hasn't been adopted yet, but she is still looking for her forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Delta, a Sacramento American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
