Darla's Story...
Meet Darla! This sweet girl was rescued along with 2 of her siblings. Darla and her siblings had pretty severe cases of Demodex. Darla's Demodex wasn't as bad as her siblings, however, we immediately got them all treatment. Darla has progressed so well over the past couple of weeks and her skin and fur are looking so much better! Darla is in foster care and is getting wonderful socialization with dogs and cats! Darla is extremely eager to please and very treat motivated. Darla is 100% crate trained and will crate on command and does not have accidents in her crate. Darla's foster parents have been teaching her Sit, Down, Stay, and Come. She is still a puppy and will need continued obedience, but she is doing very well thus far!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Darla, a Sacramento Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
