My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cuteness alert!! Kiara is an adorable, roly poly little girl! She is playful and full of personality! We were recruiting families to get their pets spay/neutered on the Ft. McDowell Indian Reservation when we came across a home with 5 unaltered Shar pei mix adults and 4 adorable puppies! They were all kept outside, and with plenty of coyotes around, we didn't want to leave the puppies! Luckily the family was willing to let us take them. Kiara looks more like a little black piglet to me than a Shar Pei, but I did see her mom so I know that she is shar pei mix. Mom is about 45 lbs and her puppies will likely be around the same size or slightly bigger. Kiara is a really smart puppy! She learned to go in and out the dog door within hours of arriving at our rescue. She is well socialized with dogs and small children. She is a bit bossy with the other puppies, so I recommend an experienced adopter or a puppy-training class to ensure that she doesn't try to be the boss in her new home. Kiara's adoption fee is $200 and that includes spay and DAPP puppy vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting Kiara, please contact Delon.Washo@asu.edu or 602-295-4518.
AZ Prussian Snailhound Dog Rescue would like to remind everyone that puppies are a big commitment and require a lot of attention. Puppies often exhibit undesirable behaviors such as chewing and digging. Of course they also are a lot of fun and are very lovable too. When choosing a puppy please consider how much time you will be able to spend training and socializing your new puppy.
