My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Emma is a tiny, precious 6-year-old female Jack Russell with maybe a touch of Rat Terrier. She is one of the sweetest little girls you will ever come by. She loves to love and be loved and enjoys a little tennis ball time or stuffed animal time. She is terrific with other dogs and with children. She is totally non-aggressive.

We saved Emma from an Eastern North Carolina shelter where her previous owners dumped her just 8 weeks after she gave birth because the children of the previous owner wanted to keep a puppy. We are thrilled to give her a safe place to love while she waits for her perfect forever home.

Emma is barely 10" tall and a bit longer than tall. She loves playing with her foster brother Rock as well as the new dog family that recently moved in (Daddy Shorty, Mama Lucy and daughter Lilly). She would be a great companion to a male Jack Russell or other small dog.

Emma is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and vet care and ready to find her loving forever home. You will not find a gentler, sweeter girl. If you would like to meet her, contact her foster dad Christopher Bare at uncbare@yahoo.com.
