Uranus's Story...
Uranus is one of the smallest puppies and was feeling squirmy when we took his picture. He is absolutely adorable in person with extra big ears and big puppy eyes. Uranus doesn't let his small stature keep him from playing with the big puppies and he loves to play with squeaky toys.

Uranus' adoption fee is 175 and includes his first 2 shots, rabies, and his neuter. Uranus will not be able to go home until the 15th but we are finding him and his siblings homes in advance.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Uranus, a Roosevelt German Wirehaired Pointer/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Wirehaired Pointer/Boxer for sale in Roosevelt, or seeking a German Wirehaired Pointer/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Roosevelt.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Roosevelt already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Roosevelt breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Wirehaired Pointer/Boxer breeders who help with German Wirehaired Pointer/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Roosevelt paves the way for another one to be saved.
