Bridget Bardo's Story...
Bridget Bardo is a Havanese Maltese Mix she is about 5 yrs old and weighs about 12 lbs. She is very sweet and mellow. She look much cuter in person. She came into the shelter pregnant and delivered the puppies in the shelter, all of her puppies where adopted while in the shelter. Her past owners really neglected her and she has some missing fur from flea allergies, but with good food and nutrition her fur will look beautiful again. Her fleas where so bad she just kept biting and itching at herself she has gnawed down her teeth from biting at herself. Poor baby we have gotten that under control and she is now ready for a family to spoil her rotten. She is updated on all her shots and microchipped and recently spayed. If interested in meeting her please go to our web site at www.adoptmerescue.org and fill out our adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bridget Bardo, a Studio City Havanese/Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Havanese/Maltese for sale in Studio City, or seeking a Havanese/Maltese dog from a breeder in Studio City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Studio City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Studio City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Havanese/Maltese breeders who help with Havanese/Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Studio City paves the way for another one to be saved.
