Calvin Klein's Story...
Hi my name is Calvin Klein and I am a 12lb, 1 1/2 - 2 year old Poodle/Bichon mix. My mom had to move and couldn't take me with her! I'm a good boy and I am always happy and I LOVE to play with other dogs and I love all people. I have a lot of good energy and I NEED to go to a home with another dog and a backyard to play in if possible. I don't go potty in the house and I know how to use a doggy door.
I am healthy, house trained, neutered, current on all vaccines and microchipped.
Foster / Adoption only open to Southern California residents. We do not foster / adopt any of our rescue dogs to households with children under 10 years old.
A foster / adoption application must be filled out PRIOR to anyone meeting any of our dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Calvin Klein, a Van Nuys Poodle (Miniature)/Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature)/Bichon Frise for sale in Van Nuys, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature)/Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in Van Nuys.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Van Nuys already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Van Nuys breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature)/Bichon Frise breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature)/Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Van Nuys paves the way for another one to be saved.
