My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Spice was surrender to New Moon Rabbit Rescue by her owner on 26 January 2013.

It is believed that Spice was born in approximately 2006 although we have no way of confirming her exact age. She was bonded when she was first arrived but due to the stress of being surrender they did not stay bonded.

Spice is looking for a real forever home, maybe even a new friend.

“Spice is easy-going and very tidy. She's a curious and friendly rabbit who will often come over to you when you approach her and will gladly take any treats from your hand. She gets along well with cats and is overall just a really nice rabbit.”

“Our cat's "Super Catnip Crazy Cat Tunnel Pants" happened to be on the futon when I set Spice down for her photoshoot, and she LOVED them!! Of course I can see why a dark tunnel would be appealing to a rabbit, but I've never had a rabbit that paid much attention to "manmade" tunnels, no matter how awesome they seem like they should be to a bun. Anyway, she was hopping in and out of the "pants", going down one leg and then the other, hopping back out, hopping in again... Just having a great time! The cat (who thought this was the best game EVER) killed Spice's buzz a little when she jumped on the top of the pants and flattened all the tunnels. While having a cat pounce on her obviously sent Spice scurrying out of the "pants", it didn't phase her much and she went right back in as soon as I pried them out from under the cat and set up the tunnels again.”
