If Sammie was granted just three wishes she'd wish for love, love and more love. Sammie was found as a stray and never claimed, but a girl as friendly and loving as she must have known the love of someone special in her past. Sammie is very friendly with other dogs and wags her tail watching them play, but she is much more interested in being near people during playtime, getting her ears rubbed, sitting right next to someone, or flipping over for a belly rub!!!. Her loving nature makes her a natural family dog with children (she adores them!) With her gentle nurturing spirit, she might even have a career as a therapy dog. We think Samantha is about 1 1/2 - 2 years old, she's healthy and she weighs about 50 pounds with a little more to gain. We're not sure of her mix, but she's got beautiful markings and a golden temperament. If you can save this nurturing girl, please visit for more information about the adoption process or click here for our online application. Full vetting AND spay included in her $300 adoption fee. Sammie is in Arkansas and transport fee is additional $140. IF YOU HAVE AOL or YAHOO PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM FILE FOR OUR RESPONSE.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

*Sammie - PENDING, a Westport Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Westport, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Westport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westport paves the way for another one to be saved.
