Finnegan's Story...
Finnegan is affectionate and has received excellent care since the first day of his life. He and his litter have been cared for by FOR foster homes and he had the benefit of being with his mother for the first 6 weeks of his life. He plays exceptionally well with other dogs and is super friendly with people. He's house trained, crate trained, and basically a happy go lucky pup! One thing we should mention....he is HUGE! From his big feet to his beautiful ears - he's been a big pup since birth but at 9 weeks of age, he's making quite an impression. If you want a big, gentle dog - Finnegan could be our guy. To learn more about him and complete an application, please email INFO@FORrescue.net. Finnegan is fostered in Hampton Cove, AL (near Huntsville)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Finnegan, a Homewood Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
