Lilac's Story...
Lilac, a purebred Chinese Crested hairless is waiting for her new forever home. Her previous owner was not able to keep her any longer so CRSD will be working to find her the best home we can. She is 12 lbs and 5 years old. She has a beautiful coat that does not shed much or can be shaved down to give her the true hairless look. A bit shy at first, but comes around with attention and love. If you would like to meet Lilac please send in your completed application to adopt found on our web site www.RescueAChi.com and we will give you a call to set up a time. Adoption fee of $300 applies. She gets along with other small dogs and has been around cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilac, a San Diego Chinese Crested dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chinese Crested for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chinese Crested dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chinese Crested breeders who help with Chinese Crested rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
