Birdie's Story...
Birdie is one cutie who stole hearts at Petco adoption. But unfortunately the family who adopted changed their mind iwthout even coming to get her. So she was ready for her forever home but now needs anohter one. Birdie played so well iwth other dogs and got along with kids and adults. She is a cutie with flecks on her white stockings so that's where we think the pointer and beagle also may be there. She wont' be a large dog, she's already 5 months old. This is a great age for training . . The shelter address: 650 John Howell Memorial Drive in Linconton. 704 736 4125. Open 6 days a week; M-Sat 11 to 4:30 and Thursday open until 5:30 pm. Closed Sunday. Adoption fee of 85.00 includes the spay or neuter , another disease preventative vaccine ,a rabies vaccine, microchip and 30 days of free pet health insurance, as well as worming. It is a great deal! For more info, contact "tritobin@charter.net" . these dogs don't have forever, the shelter must euthanize due to overcrowding,so please, don't delay!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Birdie, a Lincolnton Boxer/Pointer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Pointer for sale in Lincolnton, or seeking a Boxer/Pointer puppy from a breeder in Lincolnton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincolnton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincolnton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Pointer breeders who help with Boxer/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincolnton paves the way for another one to be saved.
