Dakota's Story...
Dakota had a sweet smile and a sweet personality to match. He's a happy, bouncing boy and will grow to be a large dog. Take a look at those feet! He's house trained, crate trained, and plays perfectly with other dogs. He's been with all six of his litter mates since birth and enjoyed several weeks during his development with his Mom. He's received excellent care in FOR foster homes and is now ready for adoption. To meet Dakota, please email Dakota is fostered in Huntsville, AL. Take a look at his video as well -- to see him with his litter mates when they were babies ;).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dakota, a Homewood Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
