Jax's Story...
This is Jax! He was found on Easter day. We think he's a shepherd mix, and is about 4-6 mos old. He was very shy at first. Now, Jax has come out of his shell and is a true puppy! He loves kids and other dogs. He could care less about our 2 cats. They'll sit right next to him and eat and he doesn't even acknowledge them. We're working on socializing him right now. He has come a long way since we first got him. He's a very happy and goofy pup! He loves to give kisses and jump up for lots of love! We're working on our manners and not jumping on things. He has really taken to my 7.5 yr old shep/lab as well as my 3.5 yr old son. We think Jax will be great with any family and would probably do even better with a household who already has another dog.

The adoption fee for Jax is $275 and includes his neuter surgery and vaccines. For more info on Jax, please email his foster at saralutz72@yahoo.com with any questions. For an adoption application, please email jvsrivero@comcast.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jax, a Livermore Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Livermore, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Livermore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Livermore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Livermore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Livermore paves the way for another one to be saved.
