Shelby's Story...
How do you not love a girl who shows her big heart on the inside and out?
That is only the beginning of the love Shelby has to give. She is a loyal companion who will follow you anywhere as long as you are willing to rub her head or scratch her belly. And wait to you hear her snort when she gets really happy! Shelby is totally house trained and is currently living in a foster home with 2 other dogs that she finds delightful. For an adult dog, she still likes to play, but would never pass up an opportunity to cuddle.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shelby, a South Haven Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in South Haven, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in South Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
