Scrappy's Story...
Introducing Scrappy Doo... He is an amazing little boy. He is approximately 5-6 years old and weighs about 25lbs. He adores children. The shelter told us he was good with other dogs, but he seems intimidated by the other dogs in foster care. He enjoys a good snuggle on the couch! He also enjoys a good romp in the clean laundry!! He is a very quite boy and hardly barks. He is crate trained and also housebroken!!
Scrappy has been seen by a vet and deamed healthy to his/her knowledge and is current on all vaccines, has been microchipped and altered.
An adoption application is required via email prior to meeting any Hope 4 Paws dog in its foster home. In most cases, breeds stated in the posting are merely our best educated guess as we do not know the history of many dogs that come into the rescue.

The adoption application is available at www.hope4paws.com.
The application can be emailed to Molly at hallamart@sbcglobal.net
The adoption fee of $275 covers all vetting expenses.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scrappy, a Plainfield Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Plainfield, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
