Bond's Story...
My name is Bond and I am an adorable 13 lb black schnauzer mix. My brother and I , Bond, ended up at a shelter - how can 2 cute puppies end up there? We are about 4 mths old and full of personality. We just want to have a good time. We are typically puppies that need typical training but we are full of love ready to find a family to call our own. We get along with everyone - cats, dogs and people!
Bond is around 4 months old and about 13lbs.

He is updated on shots, spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm tested. The adoption fee is $125.

Meet our dogs! They will be available for adoption at our weekend adoption venues!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bond, a Houston Schnauzer (Standard) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Standard) for sale in Houston, or seeking a Schnauzer (Standard) dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Standard) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Standard) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
