Sheba's Info...

Sheba's Story...
Sheba a 5 yr old pit bull boxer mix came to us from the Brooklyn ACC where she found herself a second time, much to her dismay. Sheba's owner passed away so she found herself back in the very scary shelter. She not only lost her owner but she was in danger of losing her life as well, simply for space! Sheba did very well on her evaluation at the shelter although proved to be very scared which is very understandable. Sheba will work on her confidence while in her foster home. If you pledged towards Sheba's care or would like to donate towards her care please for more info! for more info on adopting Sheba email Stay tuned for more updates, Sheba arrived to us via transport 3.29.2013.
Sheba Update from her foster: Sheba is doing great!!! Finally eating and getting into a routine. She still doesn't like to go potty in the yard, but has when she really has to go.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sheba, a Hillsborough Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Hillsborough, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Hillsborough.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillsborough already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillsborough breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillsborough paves the way for another one to be saved.
