Dawn's Story...
2/15/14: DAWN HAS BEEN ADOPTED! FROM NOW UNTIL THE END OF JANUARY, YOU CAN ADOPT ONE OF OUR SPECIALLY CHOSEN FULLY VETTED & MICROCHIPPED DOGS FOR ONLY $75!! THESE LONG-TIMERS HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR FAR TOO LONG TO FIND THEIR FOREVER HOME AND IT IS OUR HOPE THAT A SPECIAL ADOPTION FEE WILL HELP TO FIND THEM THEIR SPECIAL FOREVER FAMILIES! WE WANT TO GET THEM HOME FOR THE NEW YEAR BECAUSE EVERY PET SHOULD BE ABLE TO START THEIR NEW YEAR OFF RIGHT WITH A FAMILY! BUT DON'T DELAY BECAUSE THIS SPECIAL DEAL WILL NOT LAST FOREVER SO ACT QUICKLY IF THIS DOG SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD MATCH FOR YOUR HOME AND FAMILY!Dawn is another stray we had turned in to us. She appears to have been kept tied as she has rope burn on her neck and she is a tad on the thin side. We are not sure if she has been wandering around for awhile or if she has just not been fed and/or cared for properly. She is an absolute sweetheart who just craves attention. She will be your constant shadow if you let her! She appears to do well with some of the other dogs(we recommend no dogs smaller then her) and seems to be a young dog...perhaps around 6 months of age. All this girl needs is someone to love her. No collar or chip so she is going up for adoption to someone who can give her what she needs. She will reward you with a lifetime of loyalty and friendship. Dawn's adoption fee will be $175 to assist with her vet expenses and our care while she is with us. Please email your adoption application and interest to us to adopt Dawn. She will be spayed soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dawn, a Chiefland Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Chiefland, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Chiefland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chiefland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chiefland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chiefland paves the way for another one to be saved.
