Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Macaroon (the little 5 pound boy) was in a kill shelter on a rabies quarentine. By law, if a dog that is not yours breaks the skin--even a tiny scratch on the arm--it must be quarantined for a minimum of 10 days. He was a family dog, and they let these very hyper neighbor kids play with him and he scratched one after they were too rough. The shelter quarantined him, and then the family never came back for him. He sat in that shelter for days and days even through a HUGE adoption drive and no one gave him a second look. He has been in several kennels with other dogs and has been nice to them all. The last one kept running over him, beating him up, and then the day I took him from the shelter, that dog peed on him while I was standing right there. Poor baby :((((( Since he has been in foster care, we have found out that he is housebroken. He also likes to rub up against your leg like a cat... then flop over for belly rubs!!
