Skylar's Story...
What’s up brosef! Let's get this puppy party started!! It should come as no surprise that I get along swell with all the other dogs…didn't you hear that I love to party! Talk about social…I can romp with your other dog, cuddle on the couch with kids, or play a game of chase with the cats! Even though I am only 6 months old I am already learning how to be crate trained and I am doing a pretty darn good job! Sure I may not have all the manners and discipline as the older dogs around here, but I got cuteness for days!! And if you invest the time and training into me I can become the best dog ever, The Sky(lar) is the limit! 6 mos old-39lbs. My adoption fee is $240 and includes; neuter, microchip, reduced cost Training Class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skylar, a Portland German Shepherd Dog/Husky puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Husky for sale in Portland, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Husky puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Husky breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
