Lola's Story...
This adorable little lady is Lola, a 4 year old Yorkie mix that came to us in August of 2012 with several of her little friends. Lola was one of dozens of dogs that we removed from a terrible hoarding situation. These poor little dogs were so frightened and shy, and quite unaccustomed to being handled. It took some time and patience, and eventually all of them came out of their shells. Lola was adopted quickly, but was returned recently for being skittish around young children. This little lady has had it pretty tough in her young life and would love a quiet home, with one or two people that will give her plenty of love, patience, and space to get used to her new home on her own terms. Once Lola learns she can trust you, she will be your best friend for life and just want to snuggle up in your lap forever. Lola is very well behaved and quiet too. She just wants to be held and cuddled, and have a safe and quiet place to relax and spend time with the people that she loves. Lola prefers a home with no children, but gets along fine with other dogs and will make the perfect lap dog if you give her a chance. Please give our little Lola the fresh start in life that she’s hoping for. 4/9/13 File#22354
