HENRY's Story...
HENRY (A19620445 )
Introducing the adorable Henry! Henry is a 2-6 month old terrier/pit mix puppy. He's still just a little boy and currently only weighs 20lbs., but obviously still has a lot of growing to do. Henry is so cute in his kennel - he'll keep himself entertained by rolling and playing by himself and you're really able to see the puppy in him coming out. Out of the kennel, poor little Henry is scared - after all, he's just a little boy and the shelter is a loud, busy place for such a small guy. He likes to be carried and cuddled, it makes him feel safe. But that's okay with the volunteers - who doesn't love cuddling puppies? Henry is irresistible! Can you be the one to make Henry's puppy dream of finding a family come true? Please come meet him today! Henry is a Benefactor dog, so he is available for adoption or rescue only.

Act quickly to adopt HENRY. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

HENRY, a Philadelphia Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Philadelphia, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Philadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Philadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Philadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Philadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
