Snowy's Story...
Hi! my name is Snowy and I was rescued from a very unsafe beach for dogs in Puerto Rico. My foster family who lives in Brooklyn loves me and said I am the hit of the neighborhood. I walk well on a leash, love other dogs and have lots of enery to keep my foster family busy :)). I love to snuggle with them on the couch too. I am about a year old, about 15 lbs full grown, spayed, fully vaccinated and heartworm negative. If you would like to meet me please email meryl@thesatoproject.com. Can't wait to meet you. Love and Kisses Snowy :)).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snowy, a Madison Jack Russell Terrier/Schnauzer (Standard) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Schnauzer (Standard) for sale in Madison, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Schnauzer (Standard) dog from a breeder in Madison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Madison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Madison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Schnauzer (Standard) breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Schnauzer (Standard) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Madison paves the way for another one to be saved.
