My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bio Update 3/31/13: Loki is an adorable 11-month old, 15 pound Jack Russell/Yorkshire Terrier mix who was surrendered by his owners due to their allergies. Loki has been doing great in his foster home, but last week he took a tumble when he was chasing foster brother Fred down the basement stairs. He jumped off the side and hit his head pretty hard on the floor knocking himself unconscious, gashing his head open, and creating some head trauma. Loki remained at the vet for observation and his blood work revealed that he is having some problems with his liver. His accident was very untimely and unfortunate, but helped us discover a condition we never knew existed before. Please stay tuned as we get a more comprehensive idea about what is going on with Loki and give him sufficient time to recover from his fall. Follow his story on our website www.uyr.us and if you are able to make a donation we would appreciate it. Thanks.

Initial Bio 3/09/13: Loki here.. I am an 11 month old little boy who was surrendered because my human brother was allergic to me. See my mom is a Yorkie and my dad is a Jack Russell so I am not as hypoallergenic as people expected me to be. I weigh in at about 15 lbs right now, my foster mom can’t really tell me how big I will end up being in the long run.

Personality wise I’m one busy boy! I like to run and jump and play and chew and run and jump and chew and well I think you get the idea. You see I am part Jack Russell so I am VERY agile, foster mom thinks I would do really well with some agility training and Frisbee catching because I can Jump and high so a fenced in yard would be best for me, a privacy fence would be great because I do try to climb a chain link one. I love to chew, but hey I am only a puppy but if you could keep some bones handy that would be awesome.

I would love to find an active family to take me on walks and let me run around the back yard, I love kids and other pups so that is no problem at all.

I have an appointment for a neuter on March 20th, I will also get my microchip then and then I will officially be ready for adoption! I hope you consider me for a new addition!
