Our foster dogs live as family members in the foster home until chosen for adoption.
I am a one year old female Husky/German Shepherd. I was first found as a stray wandering the streets searching for food and shelter. I obtained an eye injury at that time. The great vets here at the shelter are taking great care of me. At least here at the shelter I have my basic needs met, like food and water plus a roof over my head. However, I am longing to find my forever home and a family to love. I have plenty of love to give. Do you have room in your heart and your home for me??
I am a young lady at heart and I weigh around 45 pounds. I have been checked out by a veterinarian and spayed. I received a set of preventative shots, have been wormed, and tested negative for heartworms. The volunteers love to play with me in the play area because I make them laugh at the way I run. It is almost like a Greyhound and I can cut the corners with the best.
I was adopted but returned because of my high energy level. I broke out of my crate and sort of ran rampage through the house. I was having fun but my owners weren't laughing. I need an owner that will take the time to work with me and help me curb my excitement.
UPDATE: I AM NOW LIVING IN A WONDERFUL FOSTER HOME!!!!!!!!
