Fig's Story...
Fig and her brother, Newton were rescued by one of our volunteers from someones yard. She is quite shy and should not go to a home with kids that will scare him. Maybe older children would be ok. She is not the kind of kitten you are going to be able to take home, and hug and squeeze (at least without some resistance on her part). She just needs someone who has patience and is willing to give her that little TLC, so she can blossom into the confident, friendly little girl we are confident that she can become.

This kitten will be at the Petco on Rt, 1 in Edison this Sunday from 10:30 until 4:30. If you would like to call to make sure she isnt adopted before coming, their # is 732 613-1608.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fig, a East Brunswick Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in East Brunswick, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in East Brunswick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in East Brunswick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a East Brunswick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in East Brunswick paves the way for another one to be saved.
