ASHTON's Story...
This is ashton and along with his brothers and sister they are up for adoption. Ashton looks more chocolate lab and the rest look border collie. Almost 3 months (april 25, 13). They are all current on shots and worming. They are available for adoption but they will have to come back to rescue in a month to be spayed and neutered (which is in contract). They are all energetic pups , get along most of the time :), with their siblings. Mom is only about 30 lbs so guessing they will be medium size dogs when full grown. If you want to meet any of the darling puppies please call 816-898-5646 or email barkindogs1@aol.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ASHTON, a Overland Park Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
