My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I am Pele.

I am a bright, high energy two-year old boy who thought I'd come to my furever home, but my mom and my dad, who are retired, have found that they can't keep up with me. I am completely house trained and I potty on leash. I also know to sit and wait before eating or going outside and I respond to Wait, Sit, Down, Go, Leave It and Come.

I'm a rather handsome fellow with very intelligent eyes. My parents took me to obedience classes and my trainer said that I'm the brightest dog she's met. I love to rough play with my sister! She and I get along great and we take naps together. I also love chew toys!!! My parents are teaching me to chew only my toys and they tell me “no” when I try to chew something else.

When I'm on the trail of a rabbit my jowls quiver with excitement and I run real fast. If I could find a home with a really big yard, I'd keep it free of critters, free of charge! Sometimes I dig and my mom and my dad have taught me to put up with a Paw Check whenever I come inside.

I have a lot of energy inside, too. So my mom puts a Thunder Shirt on me when she wants to tone down my energy level. I go into my crate when my parents are gone. I'm happy to go into it, as long as they give me a good treat! I sleep all night in my crate, too.

I alert you when someone walks by outside or when the door bell rings. I am afraid of little kids so a home with no kids or with older kids would be ideal. Also I am not too good in cars... When I'm in the car I get very nervous and I drool a lot.
So if you’re looking for a handsome young boy full of energy and with tons of love to give, contact Midwest BREW! I will be waiting for you!
