DIAMOND's Story...
~ ADOPTION PENDING ~

You may meet and apply to adopt Diamond at our ADOPTION EVENT on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 7th from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in IRVINE. adoptpetmatch@gmail.com

Diamond is a female Terrier mix puppy only 5 months old. She is tiny, currently weighing only 6 pounds. Diamond's adult weight is estimated to be about 12-14 pounds. Diamond has wispy tan and white fur, with a large white patch of fur in the shape on a diamond right on the back of her neck. She is a spunky, perky little pup, with a lot of cute playfulness and sweet puppy ways. She has feminine mannerisms and likes to be cuddled. Diamond is just starting out in life and can be exactly the kind of pup you want her to be. She is very smart and picks up on the ways of the household quickly. Diamond is good with other dogs and can hold her own despite her tiny size. She is excellent with children and will follow the kids around to see what they are up to. She is curious and likes the play and activity of a family with children. When it is naptime, Diamond will flop down in the nearest doggie bed and she is out for the count. She is a good sleeper at night and already appears to understand about going potty outdoors. As we said, she is a smart cookie. Diamond likes to join her people and be included in daily activities. She is extremely social and affectionate and great when guests come over. Diamond walks fairly well on leash, but most definitely prefers a harness. A leash pulling on her neck scares her. She rides nicely in the car without a peep. Diamond will thrive in a home where she can be included as a family member and where she can get a lot of gentle snuggling and love. She is a very healthy puppy and is ready for her new forever home today!

Diamond’s adoption donation is $350 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has been SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Diamond is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Sharon and is ready for her forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DIAMOND, a Newport Beach Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
