Bridgette's Story...

Bridgette is a sweet, loving girl who has blossomed in her foster home.  She is a petite girl, closer to the size of a Beagle but having the longer legs and build of a Treeing Walker Coonhound.  She gets along with other dogs and does fine with cats.  Bridgette was pulled from a kill shelter and was very timid when she first came to us.  While she has come a long way, she will need a little patience as she gets to know her new family and learn to trust them.  Bridgette loves to run and definitely needs a safely fenced yard.  She loves to cuddle, too, and will curl up next to you on the couch or in bed.  You will fall in love with this sweet girl.  All she wants is for you to give her a chance to show you just how sweet and special she is!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bridgette, a Schererville Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Schererville, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Schererville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Schererville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Schererville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Schererville paves the way for another one to be saved.
