Rosie URGENT! FOSTER NEEDED's Story...
ROSIE NEEDS A FOSTER HOME IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA ASAP. Rosie is currently located in Oakley.

Rosie is a stunning 1 and a half year old papered United Kennel Club (UKC) Red Nose Pit Bull Terrier. She has a lot of energy as she is still quite young, and needs regular walks and exercise. She has a very playful and goofy attitude, and enjoys playing with her bones and tennis balls. She will kick them around and pounce on them, as if they were playing back with her! She is also very vocal and will "talk" to you. She has been raised in a home with kids, cats, and another dog. She does occasionally chase the cats, but has never tried to harm them. She is a big girl, weighing approximately 70 lbs, so although she is good with children, she would do best in a home with older kids due to her size and energy level. She does ok at the dog park, but she has a dominant personality and plays very rough with the other dog in her home. Therefore she would probably be best as an only dog.

Rosie is very smart and loveable! She is treat motivated and does not show any food aggression with people or pets. She is crate trained, potty trained, and clicker trained. She knows various commands, such as "Go", "Drop", "Stay", "Watch me", and "no touch kitty"! She does need work on her recall, especially when out on walks. Rosie is ruled by her nose, and if she catches an interesting scent it is difficult to make her focus.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie URGENT! FOSTER NEEDED, a Livermore Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Livermore, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Livermore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Livermore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Livermore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Livermore paves the way for another one to be saved.
