Chassie's Info...

Chassie's Story...
Chassie one of a litter of eight puppies that were surrendered at Levy County Animal Services at about 8 weeks of age (born mid-late January?) She is playful and affectionate and is ready to be part of a loving family. If you'd like to meet her, please contact Ms. Jody (by phone or text) at (352)316-5155 or email her at HeflinJ@bellsouth.net.
(The puppies are in foster care in the Marion/Alachua County area. All the puppies will have their spay/neuter surgery before their adoptions are finalized. If they cannot have surgery right away (due to age/size), we would consider foster-to-adopt arrangements to allow them to go to their new homes as soon as possible…)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chassie, a Orange Lake Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Orange Lake, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Orange Lake.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orange Lake already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orange Lake breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orange Lake paves the way for another one to be saved.
