Hi! My name is Boudreaux!!!

I know I'm 3 years old but I don't know where I came from. I think my family must have surrendered me because I have an AKC tag - so somebody knows. I was adopted by a lady when I was 1.5. She moved to Austin & I guess she was so happy when she adopted me that she adopted a man and 2 children. I was so happy too! Eventually she didn't have time for me. I started having skin problems last summer. She took me to the vet a whole bunch of times and they finally got my skin cleared up. But then I started losing a lot of weight (22 down to 16 lbs) and I guess she got tired of me.

A nice man from WRNT met her in Waco and brought me back to north Texas. I love my foster home. I have 2 big Westie brothers, another black dog and we're taking care of another Westie. 4 fur friends! Well, it didn't take long for these humans to recognize I had a problem. They took me to a really nice vet who said I was diabetic. I eat special diabetic food and have to have 2 insulin shots a day. They give it to me while I'm eating so I don't even notice. My food doesn't cost any more than any high quality food you should feed your fur kids and my medication costs about $1/day. I'm pretty laid back, super sweet, affectionate and loyal. I would love to lay across your lap and it would be super great if you rubbed my belly. I would love to have a fur brother or sister to play with. I'm crate trained but would really like to sleep in your bed.
