Onyx's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Onyx's Story...
stray 20th and Sheridan

Onyx is a petite young adult with a gorgeous, velvety black coat. The good samaritan who found her at 20th and Sheridan wanted to keep her but could not, because her apartment does not allow pets. So Onyx came to live at the shelter.

Playful and intense by nature, Onyx has been described as “quite a character.” Her favorite activity is charging into the office (a forbidden zone for cats nowadays) and keeping a low profile until some scoops her up and takes her back to the cat areas. She will then protest at the top of her lungs, giving a credible imitation of a big, bad feline. Not to worry: it’s all a show, and Onyx is quite the drama queen.

Onyx plays well with other cats, even those edgy, cantankous felines that are prone to disputes over human attention. She has been at the shelter since April, 2010.
