Scar's Story...
URGENT! SCAR NEEDS A FOSTER HOME IN THE SAN DIEGO AREA ASAP. MUST HAVE A FOSTER BY MAY 1st!

"Scar" may sound like a scary name, but this pup is anything but! This sweet boy is a 6 and a half month old blue nose pit bull terrier. He is a typical happy and playful puppy that just wants to run and play! He loves people and other dogs, and gets along well with kids also. He has never been introduced to cats. Since he is still a puppy, he has a lot of energy and needs a home with a yard to play in, or a very active family that can give him the exercise he needs. He is already potty trained. He has never been crate trained though. He does well on a leash but will need some training not to pull. Like most puppies, be does chew the occasional shoe, but as long as you put those things away he is pretty well-behaved on his own!

IF YOU CAN HELP SCAR BY OFFERING HIM A TEMPORARY FOSTER HOME, OR A FOREVER HOME, PLEASE EMAIL JACKIE AT jakrivero@yahoo.com OR CALL 925-667-7701

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scar, a San Diego American Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in San Diego, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
