Brody's Story...
Brody is a 9 week old retriever mix. He couldn't be a smarter more loving dog! He knew how to use his weewee pads without any training and he loves to snuggle. He will happily lie next to you or in your lap if you let him! It's hard not to laugh when he barks at his own reflection in the dishwasher! He knows how to fetch. And it's hysterical watching him try and pick up his King Kong toy. " Hmmm maybe if i put it in my mouth THIS way it will fit?!" He likes cats and other dogs and is very gentle and not at all over active. He has the perfect temperament and will be 45-50 lbs when full grown. He is healthy and up to date on all shots.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brody, a Brooklyn Retriever (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
