Bella's Story...
BELLA is a very sweet and well behaved one year old female Maltese/ Lhasa Apso mix.

She was very matted when were rescued her so we had to shave her down completely but her beautiful coat is coming back.

Bella would be great in a home with other dogs or as an only dog, but with an owner who is not gone a lot.

She is a little timid at first but she is good with ALL people and great with kids.

BELLA is spayed, microchipped and current on shots.

This is one sweet and easy little dog. Bella weighs 9.5 pounds.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Santa Monica Maltese/Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Lhasa Apso for sale in Santa Monica, or seeking a Maltese/Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Santa Monica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Monica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Monica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Maltese/Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Monica paves the way for another one to be saved.
