widget's Story...
Widget is a little Corgi mix boy smaller than skip much calmer and very affectionate. Great with kids super friendly with other dogs, a year or less old 15 lbs. Widget is very social. Doing excellent on doggy manners and fine with kids, dogs okay with cats (but will chase them)
Widget came to us with a very bad limp (rarely using his back leg) He has since seen a specialist and they are thinking widget was bitten by another dog in or before the shelter. It is an old injury, the vet feels we did catch it in time and he will not need amputation :) we are treating it with a very strong anti biotic for 4 weeks. The vet says widget may always limp, but over all he seems like a sweet healthy pup!! Please email us if you would like an application to meet Widget ! Riteshot21@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

widget, a Wappingers Corgi/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog for sale in Wappingers, or seeking a Corgi/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog from a breeder in Wappingers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wappingers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wappingers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog breeders who help with Corgi/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wappingers paves the way for another one to be saved.
